Four ways
to move the same piece

New Choreo is taught across four directions. Same class structure, same breakdown, same filmed run when the piece is done — a different feel in the body each time. You do not pick one and stay there.

Experimental

01

Experimental

Movement that is not trying to look like a genre. Floorwork, weight, odd shapes, and phrasing that sits off the obvious count. This is where the choreography gets strangest and where most people find something they did not know their body would do.

Feels like
Contemporary, off-balance, close to the floor
Shoes
Sneakers or bare feet
Girly hip-hop

02

Girly hip-hop

Hip-hop grooves with attitude on top. Bounce and weight underneath, sharp accents, and the parts everybody films. The most social of the four — it is built to be danced in a group and looked at.

Feels like
Groove, bounce, attitude
Shoes
Sneakers
Open style

03

Open style

No single vocabulary. The piece takes whatever it needs — a hip-hop section, a contemporary run, a still moment — and the point is musicality rather than a label. If you do not know which direction is yours, start here.

Feels like
Everything, chosen by the track
Shoes
Whatever you can move in
Heels

04

Heels

Have you ever danced hip-hop in heels? Let’s try.

Not classical heels. This is hip-hop — grooves, bounce, attitude — danced with a heel under you, and the heel changes everything: how you carry weight, how you turn, how you hold a pause. Confidence work as much as technique. Bring heels you can actually stand in; nobody starts in stilettos.

Feels like
Hip-hop grooves, with a heel under you
Shoes
Heels, block heel to start

Which one
to book

Take whichever is on the schedule. All four are beginner friendly.

The direction changes the flavour, not the level. Every class is broken down count by count either way, and the schedule says which direction each date is.
